Breathwork and Soundbath workshop

A class of Breathwork and Sound to celebrate and honor the Celtic wheel with inspiration taken from folklore to guide us back to ourselves.
Welcome to our new series of curated events that help bring your body into alignment using the alignment of Mother Nature herself, the Celtic wheel.
Modern ways of living have us disconnected from the food we eat, the jobs we keep, when we rise and how we heal.
Our workshops aim to bring awareness to our rich heritage of folklore which uses stories to outline the power of nature. Because when we learn to love the land that holds us, feeds us and heals us, we can learn to love ourselves and be more connected as a community.
We’ll use the Celtic wheel as our muse, this will help guide our practices in grounding, mindfulness, prompts, breathwork and sound exploration.
Breathwork is the practice of facilitating a state of calm, entering into the parasympathetic nervous system via intentionally controlling the breath.
A SoundBath is a meditative and immersive experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves produced by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs and chimes.
Both Breathwork and Soundbathing are non invasive practices, deeply relaxing and accessible to all. Participants simply sit/lie back, breathe, and let the sound guide them. No prior experience or effort is required- just a willingness to pause and let your system recalibrate.
Research shows that both Breath and certain sound frequencies can help lower stress hormones, slow heart rate, and shift brainwaves into alpha and theta states- the same states associated with meditation, creativity, and restful sleep. By tuning into these mindful practices, your body has a chance to unwind and reset.
