We Are Explorers CIC

We Are Explorers CIC is a non-profit community interest company based in Leigh, England. We empower Neurodivergent LGBTQ+ young people and adults to explore their identities, build confidence, and connect with others through inclusive, creative, and affirming spaces. Our values are to be safe, engaging, and person-led in all that we do.
Our work focuses on tackling the barriers that Neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals often face in healthcare, education, and employment. We deliver training for professionals on Neurodivergent–LGBTQ+ intersections, and we run peer-led groups, workshops, and community events designed to promote understanding, wellbeing, and belonging.
Everything we do is guided by lived experience; our team and facilitators are part of the communities we serve. Through collaboration, advocacy, and education, We Are Explorers aims to build a world where Neurodivergent LGBTQ+ people are not only included but celebrated.
