Western Force Cricket Club

Western Force Cricket Club CIC is an inclusive cricket organisation based in the South West, creating safe, welcoming spaces for LGBTQIA+ young people and anyone who wants to enjoy cricket without pressure.
We run free cricket taster sessions across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, BANES, Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Our sessions are relaxed, beginner‑friendly and open to all abilities — whether you’re completely new to cricket or returning after time away.
We offer a wide mix of formats including soft‑ball cricket, walking cricket, indoor cricket, hard‑ball training, and fun, social cricket games. We also take part in soft‑ball festivals and community cricket events across the region.
Everything we do is built around enjoyment, connection and wellbeing. We have an active WhatsApp group where players can stay connected, share updates and support each other.
As a CIC, our mission is to reduce isolation, improve mental wellbeing and make cricket accessible to LGBTQIA+ young people and communities who face barriers to sport. We are actively developing relationships with local youth groups, wellbeing organisations and community partners to strengthen our inclusive offer.
