Benefit from specialist mentoring, careers coaching and enjoy trips throughout NI and our neighbouring counties – Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo thanks to our partnership organisations, Donegal Youth Service and MSLETB.
We also offer specialist support through our partnerships with Cedar and Tides, days out to build relationships and confidence, work placement opportunities, and an OCN L1 qualification, as well as daily lunch vouchers and assistance with travel and childcare costs.

Place Description: The Parent Support Project based in North Down/Sout-Eastern Trust Area has provided support for young care experienced parents and their families since 1999.
The project is contracted by the SEHSCT to provide a support service to 20 care experienced young parents and their children. This service is available to those aged 16-25 in the South-Eastern Trust area.
We aim to provide support to families to keep them safe and together. For parents we provide support that will educate and equip them with the tools needed for effective parenting and for children we provide support to ensure that they thrive and are given the best opportunity to meet their key early years milestones.
Specific areas of support focussed on include:

Routine
Boundaries and Challenging Behaviours
Children’s Key Early Milestones and Education
Physical and Emotional Well-Being

Way Forward is a free online peer support group for all women affected by another person’s gambling. The group provides
Place Description: Way Forward is a free online peer support group for all women affected by another person’s gambling.
The group provides a non-judgmental, safe and supportive space for women to meet and speak to others in a similar situation, share their experiences, find comfort, and empower one another.
Over seven-weekly 2-hour sessions the group explores a number of topics including the importance of looking after our emotional wellbeing, guilt and shame, dealing with anger and resentment and how to have difficult conversations.
The sessions are led by trained facilitators experienced in supporting women who are affected by gambling-related harms.
Way Forward is available to all women in the UK over 18 years old. Sessions are hosted over Zoom and run throughout the year – evening and daytime sessions available. For more information, please contact:
