Kristi Noem’s humiliating year just keeps delivering, even after the disgrace of Noem’s firing from office during a speaking engagement in March. That same month, news of Noem’s husband Bryon’s “bimbofication” fetish went viral, leaving Kristi unemployed, exposed, and at the subject of a hypocritical scandal that left her show marriage in pieces.
But this week, it got way worse for the former “ICE Barbie” after a story broke about two dogs owned by ICE detainees dying of starvation after their owners were dragged off by agents who neglected to mention the dogs’ existence to anyone in charge. Noem already has a pretty crappy track record when it comes to dog ownership, so this added, sick detail didn’t do her any favors.

But an even bigger bombshell was yet to come when Bryon’s dominatrix came forward to spill more tea about their relationship…including the time when Kristi almost caught Bryon in the act. Speaking to Spencer Macnaughton of Uncloseted Media, professional dominatrix Shy Sotomayor gave up the details, and the result will make your fake nipples stand up and salute.
Nine years ago, Sotomayor allegedly met Bryon Noem. She was 22, a rising dominatrix in her field. Noem told her he was a “Chicago CEO.” After paying for her services for a time, Noem dropped off her client list during 2020 lockdown. He returned in October of 2025, and Shy recognized him instantly. This time, she was curious enough about her client to do some digging. On PayPal, she found Bryon’s real name on a “Moms of America” invoice.
“I would purposely up my prices for him,” Sotomayor says, “because he liked the fact that I would cost more.”
The total cost of their sessions ran up to $45,000, not counting the fees Bryon allegedly paid to other dominatrixes.
But when Kristi Noem’s political actions started causing intense, widespread distress in early 2026, Sotomayor started considering telling her story to the press. “I didn’t want to out him,” she said. But the hypocrisy eventually became too much. In every interview, Bryon was insistent that he stood with his wife and agreed with her anti-trans, anti-sex work Project 2025 views. “But he was in my DMs saying I want to be a trans bimbo,” she says.
Noem’s desire to chat for hours with Sotomayor once even led to a sticky situation where Kristi allegedly almost walked in on them. “Who are you talking to?” Shy heard Kristi say behind the door. Luckily, Bryon was able to keep her from barging in on that occasion.
But things got more tenuous as the Tr*mpian political climate kept heating up. In addition to being Latina, Shy identifies as pansexual and has genderfluid siblings. Noem’s actions in office directly affected her and her loved ones. At first, she was terrified to speak up in case Kristi Noem found out who she was and sent ICE after her. But the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good at the hands of Noem’s ICE goons was the “final straw” for Sotomayor. She told her story to the Daily Mail, and the rest is history.
What she didn’t tell them about Bryon, however, could still fill a book. Shy describes Noem’s relationship to his kink as “borderline obsessive”
“The botox, the ICE Barbie look,” she says. “The Mar-a-Lago transformation that Kristi went through” inspired him. Noem allegedly told Shy, “I will be your trans girl” and got specific about what kinds of things he’d like done, including HRT treatments, FFS, and hair loss replacement, as well as styling and makeup tips. Shy realized that Noem seemed to want to “be a woman in broad daylight.”
In terms of Bryon Noem’s gender identity, Shy feels it’s not her place to say whether or not she believes he is trans. For her, that’s something Bryon has to claim and own by himself. But the widening gap between Noem’s public and private actions showed her that coming forward was the right thing to do.
But apparently it hasn’t stopped Bryon Noem—currently in a religion-based rehab center for sex addiction—from sliding into her DMs.
In mid-May, nearly two months after the original Daily Mail report came out, Noem was still trying to get in touch with Sotomayor.
“He texted me on iMessage, he’s like: ‘I’ve been a very bad boy.’” Sotomayor says. “I’m like, ‘oh I know.’”
