Head Injury Support offers a range of services for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury and their Carers across the Southern Health & Social Care Area.
Head Injury Support Centre, Kildare St, Newry
Monday to Thursday from 11am – 3.30pm, we offer a diverse activity programme for ABI survivors and Carers Friday nights from 8.00pm – 10.30pm we provide a social evening for ABI survivors, their Carers and other family members
On the 1st & 3rd Saturday nights of the month from 7.30pm – 11.30pm, ABI survivors and their partners can come along to a social outing that might include cinema, bowling, meals out etc
Banbridge & Craigavon Area
An activity session from 10.30am – 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at Brownlow Community HUB, Craigavon
Armagh Area
An activity session from 10.30am – 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at Dobbin Street Community Centre, Armagh
Dungannon Area
An activity session from 10.30am – 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at The Junction, Dungannon
Other Services Support groups and social inclusion activities for Carers
Peer to Peer support for those that would like to speak with someone that understands their situation
