The Queer Domino Project (QDP) is a youth-led, queer Caribbean movement using arts, care, and cultural organising to tackle systemic exclusion in cultural policy and community wellbeing. Rooted in Lambeth and Southwark, and growing collaborations in Newham, QDP creates intergenerational spaces where creativity becomes strategy — connecting storytelling, heritage, and healing to structural change.
We began around the domino table: a familiar site of play and dialogue across Caribbean life. What started as a creative project has evolved into a network of organisers, designers, and healers advocating for justice across London. Our mission is to end homophobia in Caribbean communities by building solidarity around queer Afro-Caribbean life in the UK. Our vision is for queer Caribbean people to be visible and central within Black, LGBTQ+ and cultural institutions.
Our work combines creative campaigns, policy research, and community convenings.
