Rainbow Owls

Rainbow Owls is the LGBTQ+ and allies supporters’ group of Sheffield Wednesday, which serves over 220 members.
The group works closely with the football club and its Community Programme on a variety of campaigns aimed to raise awareness, provide visibility and empower fans, including Football v Homophobia, Football v Transphobia and Hate Crime Awareness Week.
It also hosts socials every matchday for its members and also away LGBTQ+ supporters’ groups to socalise with each other, while it holds an annual Wednesday Pride conference for a variety of speakers from the LGBTQ+ football community to talk about their work and experience.
