The loss of a baby at any time during a pregnancy can cause intense sadness for a woman and her family.

BHSCT Maternity service provides the support of a Childbirth and Loss Midwife who is available to provide extra care to women and their families who have experienced a pregnancy loss at any stage while being cared for within the BHSCT Maternity and Community Services.

Alternatively, you can ask your community midwife, health visitor or GP to refer you to the service.
