Families with Ups and Downs

Families with Ups and Downs is a support group for families with a child who has a diagnosis of Downs Syndrome.

The Group meet on the 4th Monday of the month at the Morton Centre, giving parents the opportunity to meet, share experiences and seek support from others.

The Group invites speakers to the meeting to share information.

The Group organises social opportunities for the children and their siblings across the age range eg Makaton , music therapy, activity classes and age appropriate outings and activities for our teenagers.

We arrange a number of Group outings to the Pantomime, Santa visit, zoo trips, W5 and other places of interest to the children.

Informal support is always available!

Lifelong friendships have developed between both parents and our children.
