Another week is in the books, and we have so many things to gay, err, say. Heartstopper Forever hit Netflix, Jordy dropped an album, and that whole diarrhea thing happened.
Plus, Mona Lisa watched a thirst trap, Saucy Santana blessed us with the sound of the summer and the community gave “making love” the chop.
Otherwise, we’ve been consumed with coffee, Kit Connor, and Confessions II.

1. Madonna tells the gays to take their clothes off
The words on every New York City gay man’s lips last weekend were “Club Confessions.” And not just because no one throws a party like Madonna, but because the late-night, invite-only Knockdown Center event was a victory lap. Fresh off scoring her tenth album with Confessions II, “Mutha” had nothing left to do but celebrate with her gays.
Accordingly, her Stuart Price-assisted DJ set was a masterclass in getting off your phone and getting on top of the booth to serve. Joyful sweaty bodies gyrated and performed off-book singalongs to tracks like “Danceteria” and “School.” At one point, the singer taunted the crowd: “Take your clothes off. What do you go to the gym for?”
Solid point!
The party’s gAy-List attendees included Kim Petras, Este Haim, Pabllo Vittar, Meredith Marks, Evan Peters, Frankie Grande and everyone you’ve seen on Gay Twitter. The merch was sold out in minutes, and every cocktail had a Madge theme.
Of course, there were thunderous screams when Madonna threw this year’s viral B-side “Thief of Hearts” into the mix with a bellowing “B*tch!” But it was no match for the Richter Scale-registering motherquake that occurred when she capped off the night with “Hung Up.”
2. Happy Bear Coffee
A happy bear is a caffeinated bear, which seems to be the ethos behind queer-owned java business, Happy Bear Coffee, available on LGBTQ Outpost. The small-batch roasters specialize in rich and thoughtful flavors with a profound purpose, which is why you’ll see both a big, smiling bear AND a sticker on every bag denoting that 5% of your purchase was donated to a charitable organization.
Each brew is available in multiple sizes and different grinds, including whole bean, espresso, French press and pour over. My personal faves are the slightly nutty Kona Bear (starting at $21.50), the dark and chocolate-tinged Italian Apennine (starting at $19) and the deliciously wired Smokey’s Bear Cold Brew (starting at $19).
3. Matching hats for the puzzle gays
Queer puzzle lover representation in the media is so important, which is why the New York Times‘ new LGBTQ+ wedding themed Groom and Groom and Bride and Bride Baseball Caps ($50 for two) are an instant winner in my book. The Wordle-inspired caps, handmade in New York, are the perfect lids for any couple that takes their New York Times Games subscription seriously.
Unfortunately, there’s no “Single” hat yet, but uncoupled gays can snag the Wordle Party Hat for $32. That’s basically the same thing.

5. Evan Mulrooney on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars

Evan Mulrooney stole the show as a golden speedo-wearing guest Pit Crew member on the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. (Now, how do we get him on Untucked?!)
6. Sniffies x Tom of Finland Foundation Muscle Tank
This week, Tom of Finland and Sniffies came together to maximize their joint slay with an activation in Provincetown for Bear Week. Naturally, there was swag, analog cruising kits and a late-night party at The Crown & Anchor.
Thankfully, these gay culture juggernauts are not greedy tops, because they’re sharing the goods online. A limited amount of their stylish and boxy fit Sniffies x Tom of Finland Muscle Tank are available online for $55, guaranteed to “catch any bear’s eye.”
7. Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Garner has been hot on the press circuit promoting her new Peacock show The Five-Star Weekend, which is as scrumptiously campy as it looks. And this video of her reflecting on that tearjerking Love, Simon monologue, the “most important scene” she’s ever shot, solidifies her spot in the Mother Hall of Fame.
8. Bloom Crisp Apple
I want to write a Sex and the City-inspired Post-It note to all the energy drinks I’ve tried before: “I’m sorry. I can’t. Don’t hate me.” Because after trying the Bloom Crisp Apple (available in 12-packs for $24.99 on Amazon), I will never slurp anything else.
The natural energy drink touts its stats on the label: zero sugar, prebiotics and rich in antioxidants, with added benefits like positive mood, increased mental focus and boosted metabolism.
Meanwhile, I like it because it takes like apple juice.
9. Jiggle

Brettney Spears had a dream and a little bit of jiggle and he made Gay TikTok history. This clip, in which he tries on a new latex fit, has been online for just a few days, but it’s already garnered over 18 million views and inspired a followup ranking Madonna’s Confessions II on “jiggle-ability.”
Sometimes, the internet is a good place.
10. Maddie’s Secret Tee
A super niche, yet dedicated fandom forming around John Early‘s Lifetime-inspired feature film debut, Maddie’s Secret, is such a John Early thing to happen. That said, the queer comedian (who portrays the titular humble and female culinary genius) must have been prepared, because he’s already rolled out a line of merch, including this Portrait Tee, available for $40 online.
According to Early, it’s printed in “Flashdance heather gray”, and was illustrated by Gordon Landenberger.
