Rob Jetten, the gay Prime Minister of the Netherlands, has posted a sweet tribute to British actor Joe Locke.
Locke is one of the stars of Heartstopper and played the queer character Billy/Wiccan in Agnatha All Along.
It appears Jetten met Locke during the World Pride celebrations in Amsterdam last weekend.
“So great to spend time with Joe Locke during World Pride 2026 
” Jetten wrote alongside two photos of him and the actor.

Heartstopper Forever is the concluding movie to the Heartstopper tale. Adapted from the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, the show has enjoyed three previous seasons on Netflix.

Locke responded with a string of lovehearts. Another person to post a reply was Jetten’s boyfriend, Argentinian polo player Nico Keenan, who said, “Cuties
”
On his Instagram stories, Jetten admitted being “starstruck” at meeting Locke.
Prime Minister of the Netherlands
Jetten was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands in February. Aged 38 at the time, he made history as the country’s youngest PM, and its first out-gay leader.
Jetten is the leader of the D66 party. It emerged triumphant in last October’s general election. However, it did not secure enough seats for an outright victory and had to negotiate with other parties to form a coalition government.
Last Saturday, Jetten made history again when he took part in the World Pride canal parade in Amsterdam. He was the first Prime Minister of the Netherlands to do so.
Locke’s forthcoming work
Following the conclusion of Heartstopper, Locke has several projects in the works. This includes a role in Elsinore, a biopic about the late actor Ian Charleson (starring Andrew Scott as Charleson), and Black Church Bay, about the drowning of an out-gay teenager in North Wales and a headmaster’s investigation into exactly what happened.
Locke’s also set to star in Baby, a sci-fi body horror in which a young, male escort becomes pregnant with a mysterious creature.
