Caring for Kin Project (Kinship Care NI) - Magherafelt

Kinship Care NI have opened a new ‘Caring for Kin’ Project in Magherafelt to help and support grandparents and other kinship carers raising their family/friends’ children.
Kinship Care NI open new ‘Caring for Kin’ Project in Magherafelt

The Project offers a range of services to kinship carers, including a free telephone helpline service and opportunities for training and volunteering.

A new ‘Kin Together’ Support Group has also been established to assist kinship carers share experiences and develop new friendship with other kinship carers from their area.

The Project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund under the Reaching Out Connecting Older People Programme.
