HIVE (Cancer Support)

Hive Cancer Support Group will endeavour to support all cancer sufferers , their family members and carers through the provision of vital services in order to enhance their quality of life and promote vibrant and healthy communities. We want everyone to live in an area that provides services to prevent reduce or support people affected by cancer. Hive Cancer Support offer the following local community based services: Family support programmes Female cancer support Male cancer support Carers Support Coffee mornings and monthly support groups Activities, yoga and Social outings Befriending Service/listening ear Bra Fitting services in partnership with Cancer Focus NI Money Advice and signposting Prehabilitation and rehabilitation programmes Education, prevention and cancer awareness workshops Volunteering opportunitiesSupport GroupsPink Ladies – support to women affected by a Cancer diagnosis. Through coffee mornings, monthly meetings, and social outings, we give people a chance to connect over shared experiences. For those in need of extra support, we have befriending and listening ear services, a bra fitting service for those affected by breast cancer, as well as counselling and complementary therapies.
