Home Treatment Team House (House 10) - Bangor (South Eastern Trust)
The Home Treatment Team House is based in Bangor.
Its purpose is to:
1.Provide an alternative to hospital admission
2.Step up from Home treatment Team as an alternative to hospital admission
3.Facilitate early discharge from ward 27 in the Ulster Hospital Dundonald.
The team comprises of a team leader, senior support workers, support workers and patient experience staff.
While clients are resident in House 10 they will engage in recovery work which can prevent further relapse and promote keeping well. Approaches such as the ‘Bouncing Back’ workbook will be used. Support plans will be drawn up in conjunction with the clients. The client will be encouraged to participating in anxiety management, relaxation techniques and other therapeutic interventions appropriate to their needs.
Clients will also be signposted to other agencies i.e. voluntary and statutory agencies that are relevant to their individual needs. We work in partnership with existing keyworkers, carers, families, users and other agencies. Clients are encouraged to give feedback via the trusts complaints/compliments leaflet and House 10’s devised questionnaire.
