The British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service provides wheelchairs on short term loan, typically up to 8 weeks, to people with an illness, temporary loss of mobility or palliative care needs and people who are waiting for an assessment or provision of their own wheelchair from Occupational Therapy department within their local Trust.
