The Gender Pathway Fund

We are The Gender Pathway Fund, a brand new project as of July 2025 with the aim to cover most of the costs associated with private gender affirming care in the UK for low-income trans and gender diverse people. Those who are selected (based on means) will pay a significantly reduced cost for care enabling them to contribute towards care costs at an affordable rate.
The pathway to gender affirming care is being developed to support people to a point where a GP can take over the care, within the NHS adult gender service specifications. At this present moment we are organising the set up of the fund, and will hopefully be able to provide grants before not too long.
As we are just getting started, we are aiming to cover costs related to HRT to begin with. We hope to expand our organisation in the future to include other forms of gender affirming care and we apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
