The Hangout Youth CIC

The Hangout Youth CIC is an inclusive charity based in East Leeds, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ young people. We provide a safe and welcoming space for young individuals to explore their identities, express themselves creatively, and connect with others. Through a range of activities including trips, one-to-one mentoring, family support, workshops, and creative projects, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and build strong community ties.
Our mission is to reduce social isolation among LGBTQ+ youth, improve their wellbeing, and boost their confidence. We believe that every young person should have access to spaces where they feel understood, valued, and able to be their authentic selves. Whether it’s through creative arts, engaging discussions, or skill-building activities, we encourage young people to explore their potential in an environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
