Trans and Non-Binary Education

TNB.org.uk was set up by two teachers in 2023 in order to signpost support for trans and non-binary young people, families and educators. In August 2024, we became a Charitable Trust. We have four charity trustees who are all trans and non-binary educators, and who receive no payment for their role as trustees.
We have been central to the Supportive Schools Campaign since it began and have worked closely, despite us being just four volunteers, with other LGBT+ organisations to combat the harmful actions of transphobic and homophobic draft legislation and rhetoric.
We pull together the best information for our website visitors to ensure they are able to do all they can to protect themselves and each other from discrimination.
We also provide training, exemplar documents, and publish articles by trans and non-binary writers.
