Woodvale Beacon Centre (NIAMH) - Ballymena

Woodvale Beacon Day Support is very conveniently located on the Ballymoney Road. This is a quiet area of the town, but only a short walk from the bus and train stations and from the (now famous) Fair Hill Shopping Centre and the Tower Centre. Activities include :- Computers Skills Essential Skills Art & Crafts Gardening Healthy Lifestyles Indoor Bowls 10 Pin Bowling Cookery Groups Music Walking Groups Social & Recreational Activities Ceramic Painting Members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the day to day running of the centre, i.e., menu planning, building maintenance, cleaning, general office work. Referral If you are aged between 18 and 65 and have a mental health need, then your doctor, or staff from the local Community Mental Health Team can refer you to a centre. If you wish you could come in and talk to one of our staff, all of whom are trained in the field of mental health. If you'd like more information about being referred to a Beacon Day Support centre please contact us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
