Youth Action NI (L/Derry)
YouthAction NI arrange a wide range of youth work programmes and recruit young people constantly. We also provide training for young people and adults in models of youth work. We are a membership orgainisation and youth projects who become a member can received a range of free programmes, resources and training as well as support form a youth worker.
Youthstart:
is an exciting new youth work partnership between 7 leading youth charities. Youthstart is a youth employability programme that uses a youth work approach to build young people/s skills for life, learning and work. This project is open to 16-30 year old’s who are furthest from the labour market (NEET) and reside in areas of high levels of economic inactivity. The project offers: Tailored 1-to-1 support Personal journey plan Personal development Mental health and well-being Learning skills Work skills
Ideas Fund
This project offers young people mental health and well being sessions. This programme is offered to groups of young people aged 14-26. Helps to build resilience in young people. On this project we offer workshops on altruism, journaling, LifeMaps and peer mentoring.
